Segue.

In 2010, I needed a bit of a change, and left teaching to study for a second time, and slotted into the last year of Graphic Design at Victoria University. At the end of the year, our final project was to design a concept for both the graduate exhibition layout, and the catalogue of graduate work. I wanted to create a collective identity of every one of the students, which showcased each individuals creativity, yet also brought us together as a unit.

My concept was voted the winner and became the Segue Exhibition, which was a complete honour.

Segue.

I took the concept of our segue as a collective of students to designers, and applied it as a colour gradient, assigning a different shade to each artist, that slowly evolved in a colour wheel both around the room, and the group. Each artist was represented by a CMYK ink blot, that when layered over each other, would form a vibrant, collective brain.
