I got a, I got a lil’ sumthin...
I’ve been a resident DJ at Australia’s most infamous club now for over a decade. When I was doing everything I could to get a gig there, the residents I looked up to were very prolific producers, but the club itself never really pulled them together to release music. There was always a million conversations in the club about starting a label, to which I would always stoke the fire with encouragement, but it seemed like only a pipe dream. In 2019, it’s longest serving residents, myself included, finally twisted the arm of Ransom, and came together to form Revolver Upstairs Records. In 2020, my production duo ‘Common Underground’ with Jimmy Le Mac, put out our first artist EP with the label.

The release was well received, getting national airplay on JJJ’s The Ashton Shuffle’s “Friday Night Shuffle”, as well as garnering support and tremendous feedback from the likes of Idris Elba, David Guetta, and Claude VonStroke to name a few.
