Worldwide Pandemonium Component.

Kino Motel is “an international action duo releasing sensational music and movies.” Half German, half Australian, and wholely my friends.

Ed & Rosa were lucky enough to get married in between the first and second major Melbourne lockdown, and I attended their wedding with huge excitement, but also a guilty conscience. With the pressure of moving house and lack of finances due to COVID, I didn’t have enough money to get them a wedding present.

When COVID hit hard in the second major lockdown, and I continued to have a lack of design work, I made this screenprint artwork for their band.

As fellow creatives, I knew that Ed & Rosa would be hit financially by the pandemic, and wanted to give them both a delayed wedding present, but also a product that they could reproduce as merchandise, either as prints or shirts, and recover some financial loss from the past 2 years.

They’ve just started playing shows again, and I can’t wait to get in the club, and see this on a shirt behind a merch desk real soon.
